Ingredients

8 servings
  • 5 tbspedible gum
  • 6 tbspghee
  • 1 1/4 cupwhole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cupboora sugar
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper roughly crushed
  • 3 tbspchopped almon
  • 3 tbspdry coconut grated
  • ghee for deep frying gum

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee in a non stick pan

  2. 2

    Add flour and roast it over medium flame for 10 minutes stirring continuously

  3. 3

    Keep aside to cool completely

  4. 4

    Heat the ghee for deep frying gaund in a kadhai and fry the gaund till the pieces puffs up

  5. 5

    Transfer the fried gaund to a plate and allow it to cool

  6. 6

    Combine sugar, fried gaund, amlond, coconut, black pepper and roasted flour in a deep bowl, mix well

  7. 7

    Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a medium round ball

  8. 8

    Serve or store in an air tight container
