Mandazi

My first time ever cooking mandazi. I have always thought it is tedious and time consuming but guess what! It is not.
I visited my friend at her house and I saw how she cooked it then I went back home and tried it and this is my product .I absolutely loved 😍😜.

Steps

Put sugar and salt in a bowl and mix it together then add eggs to it and stir continuously.

Add four cups of warm water to the mixture then pour flour into it.

Crate the lemon cover to it and squeeze the lemon juice from the lemon to the mixture.

Start kneading till it creates a soft paste.

Place flour on a flat clean surface and cut out a bit of paste and roll it flat.Cut them into small pieces of desired shape.Meanwhile let the fat heat and liqudify.

Deep the cut into shapes into hot boiling oil.Put as many depending on the sufuria size.Let it cook for two minutes then turn the other side to cook for 1 minute.continue with the process until completely done.

Hot mandazi is ready to serve with hot coffee or tea.Enjoy.
