Cooking Instructions

Heat the oil in a wok. Add the onions & garlic & sauté for 1 minute.

Add the chopped carrot, green peas,green chillies and capsicum and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.

Add vinegar, soya sauce & tomatoes sauce.... Let the vegies mix up properly with sauces.add chilli sauce if u want more spicy.....

Add the taste maker (ready to use powder given in the packet of noodles). If not, add the alternative powder mix as given above. Let it cook for 1 – 2 minutes.

Add the water. (You can adjust the amount of water later on too. So, adopt a conservative approach while pouring water into the wok.) Let it be on high flame until it starts to boil.

Add the noodles now. You can either break them and add or add it just like that. I don’t break them because I like my noodles to be long & connected so that it is fun while eating with a fork! 🙂

Cook on high flame for about 4 minutes then off the flame...cover it for 5-7 mins.....let them cook in heat (you’ll know when it is done. the water would have evaporated & the noodles is soft).

Remove from heat, garnish with some coriander leaves & serve!

For my 1st post i'm gonna give u one of my fav dish. It's quick to cook and has minimum prep work, easy to make, and delicious of course! :)I’m going to go through a few ingredients so bare with me.. Hehehe..I know that thai food doesn’t really use a lot of ground beef, you can substitute it with thinly sliced beef, ground chicken or minced chicken..In thai, they usually use 'Holy Basil'. It taste stronger than regular basil and also has slightly peppery and spicy taste. But, its not easy to find holy basil here in indonesia. So in this recipe i use local basil or daun kemangi as they say in indonesian (and it still taste good!)Actually i dont have the exact or precise measurement for the amount of sauce and chili that i'm using. Thats why again and again i remind u all to taste your food.. Some people like it spicy, some people dont.. Its all abouy taste! So feel free if u wanna add extra chilli or sauces into the dish..Feel free to explore your food pallet.. Have fun with your dish and enjoy every moment of cooking! Be adventurous! Be bold! I been posting meat chicken meat chicken.Why not something new. I have all my pork meat chicken meat prawn fish in fridge. Normally everyone two weeks I will off to morning market to get my fresh ingredients. So happen today my rice stock finish and I have text my husband to get 5kg of rice otw back home. Asian we always eat rice in almost every meal.huhu..so I am making this har lok as a side dish to my pineapple fried rice.I prep all the ingredients while my baby sleeping.While cooking this dish my baby crying for milk and it is struggle to cook and take pictures and entertain your baby at the same time. It’s like u do what u like your passion at the same time your baby crying for milk.As while I’m typing this I’m feeding my baby and get my post update.I hope it is worth to share and you guys can enjoy it with family too...it is definitely a yummy dish.happy try :) Betsy -
