Another alternative to dairy or nut milks is 'milk' made from bananas and water. Very simple but delicious and full of potassium, vitamin B6, C and E, dietary fibre and manganese

Ingredients

  1. 1banana, frozen
  2. 240 mlcold water
  3. 1/4 tspground cinnamon
  4. pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Simply place the ingredients in a blender and whizz up until completely pureed

  2. 2

    Delicious as both a drink and as an ingredient for baking in place of skimmed dairy milk or thin milks such as nut or plant milks

  3. 3

    You can add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder and a dash of vanilla extract for a lovely chocolate banana drink or thicken it up by adding gluten-free instant oats to the blender

the chicken was really yummy, not that keen on the vegetables, but perhaps I didn't get them right!
