Ingredients

32 servings
  1. 1 cupmargarine/shortening
  2. 1 cupbrown sugar
  3. 1/2 cupwhite sugar
  4. 1 1/2 tspvanilla
  5. 2eggs
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 2 cupflour
  8. 1 tspbaking soda
  9. 1 packagespkg chocolate chips (or try 1/2 choc & 1/2 skor bits or b.scotch chips)

Steps

  1. 1

    cream margarine w sugar, add eggs & vanilla

  2. 2

    combine flour, soda, salt & gradually add to creamed mixture

  3. 3

    stir in pkg chipits choc chips or mix w diff types of chips, nuts if wanted

  4. 4

    drop by spoonfuls onto greased/ungreased (depends on pan used) cookie sheet

  5. 5

    bake @ 325/350 until cookies r golden in colour
