Ingredients

  1. as required Girdi Phith
  2. 2 cupsFlour made from :
  3. (Mung,Vatana, Vaal, Methi seeds, Masoor, Malka, Rajma, Chawli, Makai &
  4. Jowar, Rice, Nachni, Wheat, Urad dal, Mung dal, Chana dal, Tuvar dal)
  5. to tastesalt,
  6. 1 tspHaldi powder,
  7. 1chopped chillies (optional),
  8. as neededchopped Coriander leaves,
  9. 1chopped onions,
  10. as per taste chopped garlic
  11. as required water

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the pulses & grains given above & grind dry flour or also get ready made Dhirdi flour from the store.

  2. 2

    In a bowl put approximately 2 cups flour.

  3. 3

    Add salt, 1 tsp Haldi powder, chopped chillies (optional), chopped Coriander leaves, chopped onions, chopped garlic as per your taste.

  4. 4

    Now add little by little water to make semi thick batter.

  5. 5

    Heat tawa on medium flame & spread little oil on a tawa & spread 1 tbsp batter to make thin pancakes like dosa.

  6. 6

    Spread the batter in a circular motion for making the pancakes.

  7. 7

    Turn the pancakes & roast it on both sides.

  8. 8

    Transfer the pancakes in a serving plate.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with tomato sauce.
