Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cupsflour
  2. 4 teaspoonmargarine
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  5. 2 tablespoonsugar
  6. pinchsalt
  7. 14 ouncesmackerel
  8. 6-8 tablespoonwater
  9. 2green onion
  10. 1small onion (finely chopped)
  11. black pepper
  12. enough vegetable oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the dry ingredients together

  2. 2

    Add margarine to the above, make sure the margarine is well incorporated into the flour

  3. 3

    Add egg and water, the water should be added bit by bit so the dough won't get too watery

  4. 4

    Keep the dough aside for 5-10minute

  5. 5

    To make the filling, boil the mackerel with a pinch of salt and stock cube, remove the bone from the mackerel

  6. 6

    Mix the mackerel with chopped onions,pepper

  7. 7

    Roll the dough on a flat surface and cut into triangle shape

  8. 8

    Fill the cut dough with the mackerel and roll until sealed

  9. 9

    Pour the vegetable oil into frying pan, Fry on a medium to high heat

  10. 10

    Fry until golden brown

  11. 11

    It ready to serve
