In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and eggs

Mix the water and milk, gradually add the mixture to the flour while kneading into the dough. Use the additional water if necessary

Knead for together with the margarine about 15 mins to 20 mins until smooth and elastic dough is formed.

Let the dough rest for over 10 minutes

Divide the entire dough into 7 to 8 equal balls.

Spread every ball onto a flat surface maintaining the circular shape of the dough

Cut the dough into 4 to 5 equal quadrants

Repeat steps six and seven until you spread and cut all the round balls

Place all of the dough quadrants in a tray sprinkled with some flour

Heat a few cups of vegetable oil to a given temperature above 90 degrees Celsius in a sufuria or deep pot

You put the dough quadrants carefully in the hot oil.

With caution turn the dough a few times until they are golden brown all over.

Then fry only as many together as they can float in the oil without touching one another

Once completely fried, take them out and place on a a paper towel to drain.

Now ready you can serve with your favorite beverage
