This is one of the short and sweet recipes which can be prepared within 15 minutes. This is very healthy and protein packed sweets which are loved very much by the kids.

Dry roast fried gram for few minutes, so that it retains its crispiness. Transfer to a bowl. Now in the same pan add grated jaggery and water. Bring it to boil. Filter if any impurities present.

Again boil jaggery water to rolling consistency. When you drop jaggery in water it should retain its shape and should not dissolve. You should be able to roll it like a ball. This is the proper consistency.

Now add fried gram and mix well till jaggery and fried gram is mixed thoroughly. Switch off the flame.

Let it cool for a minute. But while still hot, apply ghee on your hands, take a tbsp of fried gram mix and shape it to ladoo(urundai). If you are making in large batches, if the mix cools completely you will not be able to make ladoos. In this situation, slightly heat the mix, it will loosen and again start to make ladoos. Healthy fried gram ladoos are ready
