Wash the dal and cook in pressure cooker for 1 whistle and cool down

Take a pan heat ghree add jeera. when jeera crackled add adruk, chilles. Saute it

Add onion.. stir it till soft add tomatoes. add haldi, red chilli powder, kashmiri mirch, and 2 tsp water. stir till oil is separated

Add coriander powder and coriander leaves. Add this tadka in boiled dal

To make it dhaba style we ready one more tadka

In a kadchi heat ghee add garam masala and pinch hing and pour this tadka again on dal
