Ingredients

  • 1 cupchana daal
  • 1/2 cupmoong daal
  • 1/4 cupsplit and skinned urad dal
  • 2-3 tablespoonswater
  • 1/2 cuponions (chopped)
  • 3-4garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 tablespoongreen chilli (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoondry mango powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonhing
  • As requiredChaat Masala (for sprinkling)
  • To tasteSalt
  • Oil (for deep frying)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash all the dals and soak them in sufficient water for 4-5 hours.

  2. 2

    Discard the water and grind the dals by adding garlic, ginger, one tablespoon green chilli and water.

  3. 3

    Add chopped onions green chilli, hing, salt and dry mango powder to grinded mixture.. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Heat oil for deep frying.

  5. 5

    Take one spoon daal mix and slide it in oil. Deep fry them.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle chaat masala and serve with chutney of your choice.
