Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1/2 cuprice
  2. 1/3 cupCrowder peas
  3. 2/3 liter broth, chicken or vegetable
  4. 1/4 cupmilk
  5. 2 tbspbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat butter in a pot add rice fry in butter for 2 minutes then add broth.

  2. 2

    When liquid is boiling add peas cover. Simmer stirring occasionally, till liquid is almost gone. Take off heat and let sit 15 minutes covered undisturbed.
