I love donuts but I dint eat fried food, so I was looking for a good and easy recipe and I found this one. Now it's mine cause its so easy to make that Im just thankful I found it. :)

Ingredients

  1. 1Baking Spray
  2. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 2 tspbaking powder
  5. 1 tspground cinnamon
  6. 1/2 tspground nutmeg
  7. 1/2 tspkosher salt
  8. 1 largeegg (extra large) slightly beaten
  9. 1 1/4 cupwhole milk
  10. 2 tbspunsalted butter
  11. 2 tsppure vanilla extract
  12. 1stick unsalted butter
  13. 1/2 cupsugar
  14. 1/2 tspground cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray 2 doughnut pans well.

    Into a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.

    Bake for 17 minutes pr until toothpick comes out clean.

    For the topping, melt the 8 tablespoons of butter in an 8-inch saute pan. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Dip each doughnut first in the butter and then in the cinnamon sugar, either on one side or both sides.
