Ingredients

  1. 1garlic clove
  2. 2tomatoes
  3. 1salt (good amount)
  4. 3 tspsalsa for flavor
  5. 1 lbbeans rinsed and presoaked
  6. 1 lbBacon
  7. 1 1/4 cupdiced red onion
  8. 1 dashchili powder
  9. 1 dashground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Bring Beans back to a boil and add bacon

  2. 2

    Cook until bacon is extremely tender

  3. 3

    Dice up bacon and return to beans

  4. 4

    Dice up onion and peel and dice tomatoes- add to beans

  5. 5

    Continue cooking for not more than 2 hours
