Ingredients

  1. 1 clovegarlic (minced)
  2. 1/2 smallonion, chopped
  3. 1 tbspcilantro (sliced)
  4. 1(optional) tomato diced
  5. 2 tbsptomato sauce
  6. 1 packagessazón (all purpose seasoning)
  7. 1 tbspGoya brand sofrito (optional)
  8. 1green onions (chopped)
  9. 1 tbspolive oil
  10. 1 cuprice
  11. 2 cupwater
  12. 1 dashsalt
  13. 1lime / lemon

  1. 1

    Heat pan with oil.

  2. 2

    Once heated, place garlic, onion, cilantro, green onions and tomato in pan with oil. Let it simmer for a few minutes.

    Add the cup of rice to the pan (medium-low fire) and mix around so that all the simmered ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

    Add tomato sauce, sazón, and sofrito.

    Mix well.

    Add water and salt. Once boiling, bring down to a low heat. Cover and let sit for approx 20 min.

    Squeeze some lime on top and Enjoy!
