Ingredients

  • 400 gramsfresh,peeled,uncooked king prawns
  • 1 largeonion, peeled and cubed
  • 3 clovegarlic, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 cuppomodoro tomatos (cubed from can)
  • 2 tsptomato paste
  • 1/2 cupChardonnay (white wine)
  • 1/2 tspcrushed chillies
  • 1 tspdried thyme
  • 2 tspdried oregano
  • 4 tbspextra virgin olive oil
  • 250 gramsgreek goat feta cheese

  1. 1

    Heat the olive oil in a pan. Sauté the onions, then add the garlic, tomatos, tomato paste, all the spices snd the white wine. Let all ingredients simmer for 15 minutes until a nice, thick sauce is formed.

    Add the prawns and cook for another 3 minutes. After you remove the pan from heat and while the contents are hot, crumble the feta cheese in and stir well.

    Serve immediately with saffroned basmati!
