Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 1/2 lbrib-eye steak, sliced thin
  2. 1/2 mediumonion, sliced moon shaped slivers
  3. 1 tbspvegetable oil
  4. 1 headbutter or boston lettuce, separated into leaves
  5. 2jalapeño peppers, sliced thin
  6. 4 mediumcarrots, slice into thin strips
  7. 1sriracha (optional)
  8. Marinade
  9. 3 tbsplite soy sauce
  10. 1 mediumpear
  11. 2 tbspbrown sugar
  12. 4 clovegarlic

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all of the marinade ingredients in a food processor and give several pulses till marinade is smooth.

  2. 2

    Pour marinade into ziploc bag with steak and onions.

  3. 3

    Gently massage the meat to ensure the marinade coats everything. Refrigerate overnight.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Add meat shaking off excess marinade and cook until cooked through. You may want to drain liquid halfway through to make the crisp edges of meat.

  5. 5

    Serve on lettuce with peppers and carrots on top.
