Ingredients

  1. 1 boxjiffy cornbread mix
  2. 1 largeegg
  3. 2/3 cupmilk
  4. 1/4 cupcooking oil
  5. 1 cancherry pie filling
  6. Desert
  7. 1Mint Sprigs (optional)

Steps

40 mins
  1. 1

    Mix Jiffy according to directions using all ingredients except pie filling

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 375. After mixing cornbread pour into greased baking pan and place in oven for 10 min.

  3. 3

    Carefully remove unfinished cornbread and pour pie filling down center of cornbread about half the can.

  4. 4

    Return to oven and finish baking another 20 min remove from oven. Let cool and serve with ice cream, or coffee after dinner Enjoy

@Novicechef I am going to try it tomorrow but with strawberry or blueberry pie filling and I have honey cornbread mix as well. I will post how it turns out.
