Marmalade Cake Marmalade Cake
A recipe I found on a page of a magazine I must have torn out years ago (Recipe credit to Jane Curran and Rebecca Smith) but today I finally baked it, because I had a jar of marmalade sitting in the fridge that my daughter wanted for Paddington, but decided she didn't like. Celeste -
Fig Cake Fig Cake
This is a fig version of a fruit butter cake that came from my British mother-in-law who makes it with prunes. The original prune version tasted so delicious, so I looked for a good fruit substitute in Japan, and found figs to be the perfect fit!Since fresh fruit is used to bake this cake, it is also delicious on the day it is baked. The cake becomes more moist the next day, adding another level of delight. Christmas Cake for Babies Christmas Cake for Babies
I made a Christmas cake that is made with ingredients that my 1 year old son can eat.Cooking time may need to be adjusted depending on the size of your baking cups, or the amount of batter put in the cups. Check the batter after steaming for 10 minutes and adjust the time if necessary.1 bag of pancake mix (200 g) makes about 8-10 buns. Leftovers can be frozen and saved for snacks later. My friend Jeff shared a handwritten recipe from his aunt Hermoyne that hadn’t been made in thirty-five years. I decided to make it as a surprise for Jeff’s Passover and it indeed reminded everyone of their favorite aunt.#GlobalApron #Seder #cake #dessert #Jewish Ricardo -

Indo-Dutch Klappertaart (Coconut Cake) Indo-Dutch Klappertaart (Coconut Cake)
Klappertaart is a Dutch-inspired dessert which is popular in Indonesia. Klappertaart literally means coconut tart (klapper = coconut; taart = tart/cake) because the main ingredients are coconut fruit and coconut water. I really like this dessert and I hope you'll like it too! Janis Al-Fath -
Blue Cake!! (Baby Shower 👶🏻🩵) Blue Cake!! (Baby Shower 👶🏻🩵)
Finally Friday! If any of you have a baby shower this weekend—or just want to surprise a friend or family member who’s expecting—here’s the cake I made for my boss for the baby shower we threw at work.He was having a boy, so I made it blue, but you can totally switch it to pink if it’s for a girl 🎀.And if there’s no baby shower at all, no problem—you can still make it! Just use dark, milk, or white chocolate instead of the blue chocolate I used here.I’m not usually a big fan of artificial-looking stuff, but honestly, it turned out super cute and tasted amazing!I even bought those little sugar baby toppers and somehow got the frosting color to match almost perfectly.I didn’t get a “Pinterest-worthy” photo because I was in a rush to surprise him, but the important thing is how it turned out 😉Want to know how I made it?
