Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed non stick kadhai.

Add the aata and besan, roast for few minutes. Then add the Suji rawa to the kadhai and roast further for few minutes.

Make a paste of the Urad Dal with very little water. Add this paste to the cooking mixture in the kadhai.

Stir continuously to avoid clumps. Now cook and stir the mixture till it is cooked and changes colour. This will take atleast 40-45 minutes.

Mean while make a sugar syrup with sugar and water, of one string consistency. Now to the Urad Dal mix, add the grated khoya and elaichi powder. Roast for another 5 minutes.

Now add the sugar syrup and mix. Cook the mixture till it if dry.Add chopped almonds and let it cool for just few minutes. Now make small pedas of the mixture and put a sliced almond on top.
