Today I forgot to buy groceries, then I look into my fridge and I only have shrimp, lemon and asparagus. So I decide to make a dish from scratch, using ingredients I have in my kitchen.

Today I forgot to buy groceries, then I look into my fridge and I only have shrimp, lemon and asparagus. So I decide to make a dish from scratch, using ingredients I have in my kitchen.

Ingredients

  1. 8 largeprawns, peel and remove head
  2. 1 bunchasparagus, slice about 2 inches long
  3. 3 tbspfresh lemon juice
  4. 2 clovegarlic, finely minced
  5. 1scallion/ green onion, finely sliced
  6. 100 mlmilk/ cream
  7. 100 gramsflour
  8. 1 1/2 tbspbutter
  9. salt and pepper
  10. 1cooking oil (canola, corn, etc)

Cooking Instructions

    Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice to prawn, add salt and pepper as needed. Stir.

    Add salt and pepper to flour, stir.

    Dip prawn into flour, deep fry until golden brown.

  4. 4

    In other pan, heat butter, add garlic. Then add asparagus, milk, 2 tablespoon lemon juice. Stir. Add salt and pepper and the last add scallions. Remove from heat.

    Put crispy fried prawn on plate, pour lemon sauce and ready to serve! Serve with potato mash or rice.
