Take a bowl and mix gram split flour and water.it has to be thick and sticky not runny(not thin?

Add salt to taste

Add the sliced(raw)potatoes in the paste

Heat the deep frying pan and make sure oil atleast reaches halfway so that the potatoes get submerged in the oil

Take the potatoes with a spoon and put them in the oil.do not pour with the paste.

Once they start turning golden brown turn the potatoes so that they cook all sides then remove and put them in paper filter for the oil to filter

Now for the tamarind(ukwaju.)remove the seeds.

Blend it with pepper,salt,garlic and onions.best if left in the fridge for 10 minutes

Serve with a cold juice
