Fluffy George Foreman Pancakes

My stove was broken, and I was craving pancakes. I figured that I could use my George Foreman grill and cook my pancakes that way, and it was actually perfect! This is a fluffy recipe so the batter doesn't fall through the cracks of the grill

My stove was broken, and I was craving pancakes. I figured that I could use my George Foreman grill and cook my pancakes that way, and it was actually perfect! This is a fluffy recipe so the batter doesn't fall through the cracks of the grill
Steps
- 1
Combine milk with vinegar in a medium bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to "sour".
Heat George Forman grill. - 2
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg and butter into "soured" milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
- 3
After grill is hot, Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter onto the grill and close too. My grill lets me know it's ready when the light turns off. If you don't have the same grill as me, wait about a minute to open. Flip with a spatula, and cook until browned the way you desire.
