Preheate oven to 350°F

Toss the slides green mango with lime juice to the large bowl

In separate bowl, toss together flour, sugar, salt, and nutmeg

Layer the sugar mixture and the sliced mango in several layers in the pie shell bottom.

Dot with butter, then top with the other half of the pie crust. Pirck with the forks

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until the mango has softned and the pie crust golden brown.

I use the canned kind for convenience but prefer to make it myself. So I had canned mango and canned crushed pineapple. That’s a tropical pair right? Well this pie was born and the rest is history.
