1/2 cup(100 grams) brown sugar
1/4 cup(50 ml) water

Put the brown sugar and water in a saucepan. Let it boil, stirring well, over medium heat until the sugar is melted, then let it simmer about 8-10 minutes, over low heat, stirring continously until turns golden brown.

Caramel syrup is ready. Pour the syrup into flan mold now.
