Ingredients

8 minutes
4 servings
  • 200 gmButton mushrooms (common mushrooms)
  • as per taste Salt
  • 2 1/2 tbspOil
  • 1 tbspKashmiri red chilli powder or paprika powder
  • 1 tbspGarlic chopped finely
  • 4 tbspHoney
  • 1 tspDry parsley flakes
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds for garnish

Steps

8 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and boil the sliced mushrooms in about 1/2 a cup of water for around 5-6 minutes.

    Drain and set aside

  3. 3

    In a pan, heat the oil.

  4. 4

    Add the garlic and saute for a minute on low flame.

  5. 5

    Add the chilli powder followed by the mushrooms.

  6. 6

    Adjust the salt.

  7. 7

    Allow it to simmer for 7 - 8 minutes.

  8. 8

    After 8 minutes, drizzle a generous amount of honey on it.

  9. 9

    Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley flakes.

  10. 10

    Serve hot as a delicious snack at parties or even as a healthy snack at tea-time.
