Boil penne until al dente, drain, and place in a baking dish coated with olive oil. Give it a mix so pasta doesn't stick.

In a saucepan, melt butter and add chopped garlic. Cook until garlic is soft.

Add flour to the garlic butter and whisk until smooth. Continue to whisk as you add the milk and double cream.

As the liquid heats, add the grated parmesan cheese. Continue to whisk until the cheese is melted into the mixture.

Mix in chopped parsley, sea salt, and ground black pepper (a good amount of pepper.

Pour the alfredo sauce over the penne, cover with foil, and bake at 175 C for 20 min.

Remove the foil and add the breadcrumb topping.

For crumb topping, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and olive oil together into a sand-like consistency. Add to the top of the pasta and bake uncovered for 10 additional minutes.
