Spicy Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  1. garlic and peppers
  2. 1 tbspolive oil
  3. 2 tbspminced garlic
  4. 4serrano peppers, minced
  5. sauce
  6. 3 tbspbutter
  7. 3 tbspall-purpose flour
  8. 1 1/2 cuphalf and half or cream
  9. salt and pepper
  10. ground cumin
  11. 1/2 lbwhite American or Mexican cheese(a decent brand and one that melts good)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Put oil, galic and serranos in a pan. Cook until done. Remove from heat.

  2. 2

    Make a roux with the butter and flour. (For a dip, reduce the amount of flour and butter.)

  3. 3

    Add the half and half. Cook until thickened.

  4. 4

    Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook until the cheese is melted and completly mixed in.

Nice recipe. I used 2% milk and less flour but it tasted amazing.
