Ingredients

6 servings
  • Apples
  • 5 mediumapples, cored, peeled, wedges
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 4 tbspunsalted butter
  • 2 stickcinnamon, broke in half
  • 1/2 tspnutmeg
  • 1/4 tspclove, ground
  • 1/4 cuprum
  • 1/2 cupapple juice, unsweetened preferably
  • Garnish
  • 2 stickmint
  • 4scoops of vanilla ice cream

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat pan then add sugar. Let sugar turn into thick brown bubbly caramel.

  2. 2

    Add butter to pan and let melt and incorprorate.

  3. 3

    Add spices and apples. Mix and coat well.

  4. 4

    Add rum then ignite for flambe.

  5. 5

    Last, add juice to make caramel thinner.

  6. 6

    Serve in a bowl along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Garnish with mint and cinnamon stick.
