Ingredients

  1. 500 gmbaby potatoes
  2. 2onions chopped
  3. 3tomatoes chopped
  4. 7-8 clovesgarlic
  5. 1ginger
  6. 2-3green chillies finely chopped
  7. 8-10cashews
  8. 1 tspGaram Masala
  9. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  10. 1 tspCoriander powder
  11. 1/2turmeric powder
  12. 1/2 cupcurd/milk cream
  13. Salt to taste Coriander leaves chopped for garnishing
  14. 4-5 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil potatoes in salted water. Remove peels. Prick them with fork.
    Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add potatoes. Saute until light brown.

    Grind onion, cashews, garlic & ginger in a mixer grinder. Grind tomatoes & green chillies separately.
    Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add onion paste. Saute until it leaves Kadhai.

    Add tomato paste. Saute all. Once Masala leaves oil. Add red pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder & salt. Stir well..

    Add curd or milk cream.

    Mix well. Add 1 cup water. Once it boiled.Add potatoes add Garam masala. Cook it for 4-5 minutes. Check seasonings.
    Switch off gas.

    Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with chapati or naan.
