  • ● For The Flour Dredge [whisk well]
  • 2 CupsAP Flour
  • 1/2 CupPanko Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tspHot Paprika
  • 1/2 tspCayenne Pepper
  • 1 tspGranulated Garlic Powder
  • 1 tspGranulated Onion Powder
  • 1 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tspCreole Seasoning
  • 1 tbspDried Parsley
  • ● For The Egg Coating Mixture [whisk well]
  • 2LG Egglands Best Eggs
  • 1 CupWhole Milk Or Buttermilk [more if needed]
  • ● For The Sweet Corn [microwaved]
  • 2 CansSweet Corn [fully drained]
  • 2 tbspSweet Butter
  • 1 tbspDried Parsley
  • 1 tbspDried Chives
  • to tasteSalt
  • ● For The Mashed Potatoes [microwaved]
  • 2 (24 oz)Box Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes [great brand!]
  • ● For The White Southern Gravy [whisk very well while simmering]
  • 2 PackagesWhite Country Gravy [your choice of brand]
  • as neededWhole Milk Or Water [as per manufactures directions]
  • ● For The Oils [as needed - just enough to fry meat]
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbspSalted Butter
  • ● For The Sides [as needed]
  • Your Favorite Hot Sauce
  • Texas Sliced Buttered Toast
  • Over Easy Fried Eggs
  • Instant Fried & Browned Hashbrowns

Steps

20 Minutes

    Here's the bulk of what you'll need.

    Wait for the oils to heat up well without burning your butter.

    Coat your patties with your flour mixture. Dip in egg mixture and re-dip in flour. Press hard. Then place in hot oil.

    Fry on both sides for 2 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

    Drain on thick paper towels.

    Make your white gravy as per manufactures directions. Whisk constantly while simmering.

    Heat up your corn in the microwave with butter, dried parsley and salt to taste.

    Microwave your potatoes and stir well half way thru.

Hense my love for the year round super fresh meats, seafoods and crispy fresh vegetables my students have consistently listed for your families picky approval!With that, cooking, teaching and feeding others are obviously 3 of my absolute passions in life. My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods. But, I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once. Pfft! My daddy didn't nickname me, "Goat," at two years of age for nothin'! Yup! I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once!P.S. Most ALL of my recipes posted on this site were soley submitted by my youngest 6, 7 and 8 year old culinary students. Mostly recipes for the homeless and battered women's shelters they regularly cook for. That means ANYONE can make these super easy, crazy delicious recipes!Lastly, my only culinary motto?
