Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 2/3 cupButter, softened not Melted
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/4 cupboiling water
  • 1 1/2 cupFlour (whole wheat works fine)
  • Filling
  • 12Apples thinly sliced (6-12)
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1 tspcinnamon
  • pinchsalt
  • Topping
  • 1/3 cupButter (softened not melted)
  • 3/4 cupFlour (whole wheat is fine)
  • 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • pinchcinnamon
  • pinchnutmeg
  • Optional
  • dashlemon juice
  • Butter (few pats)

Steps

2 hours
  1. 1

    Crust: Mix in a food processor,

  2. 2

    Crust: Press into a greased pie plate

  3. 3

    Filling: Mix together in a large bowl and let drain over sink.

  4. 4

    Optional: squeeze lemon over apples once they are in the pie crust

  5. 5

    Optional: add a few Pats of butter before adding Crumb Topping

  6. 6

    Topping: Mix in food processor, sprinkle evenly over filling, pat down lightly to hold together.

  7. 7

    Baking: 450°F for 15 to 20 minutes with loose foil covering

  8. 8

    Baking: 350°F for 30 to 90 minutes (as needed)

Your Recipe Sounds Like It Might Good!However, The Directions Are Confusing To Say The Least. It Is Completely Lacking Proper Steps, And Instructions On Where & How To Mix The Ingredients It's Useless
