Jamaican Banana Fritters

I LOVE these dense little fritters. I have many Jamaican friends/family that make different variations of these (some add rum, some add coconut) they're awesome for those overripe bananas and something different than the usual banana bread. Enjoy! ! 😉 😊

I LOVE these dense little fritters. I have many Jamaican friends/family that make different variations of these (some add rum, some add coconut) they're awesome for those overripe bananas and something different than the usual banana bread. Enjoy! ! 😉 😊
Steps
- 1
Mash and mix all ingredients together (except oil)
- 2
Heat oil in pan, and pan fry fritters like you would pancakes.
- 3
If the batter doesn't ooze out it means they're done.
- 4
Set on paper towel to drain and sprinkle with sugar while hot (so it's sticks to the fritter)
- 5
***note, you can add more or less of each ingredient to your taste. They are supposed to be dense little guys (as there is no egg) but delish alone or with ice cream*** enjoy! !
