Ingredients

  1. 1 smallstalk celery
  2. 1Salt & Pepper to taste.
  3. 1 can16 ounce button mushrooms
  4. 12 ozreal sour cream
  5. 1 lbground lamb
  6. 3 clovegarlic or more!
  7. 1/2 cupof shredded cheddar cheese, or use your favorite.
  8. 8 ozsliced pepper jack cheese cut in strips
  9. 1 tbspgarlic powder to taste.
  10. 4 mediumred potatoes (I used 4 I had extra baked from previous dinner.)
  11. 1/4 smallonion

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Dice onion,celery,garlic cloves, and slice button mushrooms in half.

  3. 3

    Place 8 quart heavy dutch oven over medium heat on stove top.

  4. 4

    Add 1/2 cup of olive oil and cook until tender next 4 ingredients.

  5. 5

    Add diced onion,celery,garlic and mushrooms to dutch oven.

  6. 6

    Add lamb next and brown to medium adding salt & pepper to your taste. Don't over cook.

  7. 7

    Turn off stove top heat and add the 12 ounces of real sour cream and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir mixture until cheese is melted and sour cream is incorporated through all ingredients.

    Dice 4 previously baked red potatoes into 1/4 inch dice and spread around on top of meat and veggie mixture.

  9. 9

    Add sliced pepper jack cheese around top over red potatoes and sprinkle with garlic powder to your taste.

  10. 10

    Place lid on dutch oven and place in 350°F oven for 1 hour until all is melted.
