Ingredients

  • 9" unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cuplight corn syrup
  • 1 cupfirmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cupbutter, melted
  • 1/3 tspsalt
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1heaping cup pecan halves

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oven to 350

  2. 2

    In a large bowl combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs,butter, salt and vanilla; mix well.

  3. 3

    Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with pecan halves.

  5. 5

    Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

  6. 6

    Tooth pick inserted in center should come out clean.
