Ingredients

  • 200 gmsLarge Potato -
  • 1Onion -
  • 2-3Green Chilli
  • 5 gramGinger -
  • 1/2 bunchGreen Coriander -
  • to tasteSalt -
  • 5 gramChaat Masala -
  • 1Lime -
  • 30 gramCorn Flour -
  • 50 gramGreen Pea (for stuffing) -
  • 50 mlMint Chutney -
  • 50 mlSaunth Chutney -
  • 150 mlRefined Oil -

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the potatoes with skin, peel and mash/grate.

  2. 2

    Chop onion, green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves.

  3. 3

    If stuffing is to be given, then boil and mash green peas.

  4. 4

    Now mix together potato, onion, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, salt, chaat masala, lime, corn flour in a bowl & knead thoroughly to form a smooth dough.

  5. 5

    Divide the dough into small balls (60-70 grams each ball).

  6. 6

    Green peas stuffing can be given in this stage in each portion of potato mixture.

  7. 7

    Give neat Patty shape, shallow fry both the sides on tawa till golden brown.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with mint and saunth chutney.
