Ingredients

2 hrs
4 servings
  • 250 gwhite small beans(presoaked over night)
  • 1Grated carrot
  • 2big tomatoes
  • 1onion
  • 6 TBSliquid cooking oil (4 TBS for beans and 2 for rice)
  • 1beef cube
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 1 TBSchili sauce
  • 300 grice (ahero rice)

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the beans till soft for 1hr 30 mins using jiko or cook for 20-30 mins using pressure cooker.

  2. 2

    Drain the excess water or cook till all the water is diminished.

  3. 3

    Heat 4 TBS of cooking oil in another cooking pot and add garlic and onions. Fry till translucent then add carrots and tomatoes.

    Ads the boiled beans and stir then add beef cube and salt.

  5. 5

    Add 1/2 cups of water. Add a little chilli sauce and cover to cook for at least 5-10 mins

  6. 6

    Remove from heat and boil the rice using a little tumeric, a pinch of salt and 2 TBS oil.

  7. 7

    Serve with avocado.
