Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 lbschicken thighs
  • 2 1/4 lbspotatoes, cut lengthwise
  • 1 cupgrated tomatoes
  • 1 headgarlic, crushed (use less if desired)
  • 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoonssweet or hot pepper paste
  • 1/2 cuplemon juice
  • 2 tablespoonspaprika
  • 1 tablespoonsalt

Steps

    Clean the chicken thighs with vinegar and salt, rinse with water, and drain.

  2. 2

    Mix the crushed garlic, grated tomatoes, salt, lemon juice, pepper paste, paprika, and oil.

  3. 3

    In a baking dish, arrange the chicken and potatoes, pour the garlic mixture over them, and rub well to absorb the flavors.

  4. 4

    Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 1 1/2 hours, then uncover and brown the top.

  5. 5

    Serve with rice on the side.
