Ingredients

  • 2 cupsFOR DOUGH - All purpose flour -
  • to tasteSalt -
  • 1/3 cupGhee -
  • 500 gramsSTUFFING - Boiled potatoes-
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds -
  • 2 tablespoonsGhee -
  • 1 teaspoonDry mango/ amchur powder -
  • 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala -
  • 1 teaspoonKitchen king masala -
  • Ghee - for deep frying
  • 1 pinchHing
  • cupChopped almonds1/4
  • cupChopped cashew nuts1/4
  • 1/4 cupChopped pistachio
  • cupRaisin1/4
  • 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonDry coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoonChopped Ginger
  • 2 tablespoonChopped green chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a big mixing bowl add all purpose flour,1/3cup Ghee and salt according to taste mix gently and make crumble

  2. 2

    Make a soft dough using warm water. Cover it And leave for 30 minute.

    Heat 2 tablespoon ghee add hing and Cumin seeds

  4. 4

    When Cumin seeds crackle add chopped ginger and chilli saute 1 minutes

  5. 5

    Add all dry fruits and saute 2 minutes

  6. 6

    Now add boiled mash potato,And add all remaining spice

  7. 7

    Saute 15 to 20 minutes

  8. 8

    When filling is ready allow to cool

  9. 9

    Dough Knead again for 2 minutes

  10. 10

    Make big balls and roll it using rolling pin make big roti

  11. 11

    Cut cookies cutter or bowl

  12. 12

    Put 1 teaspoon filling in 1 part and cover another part

  13. 13

    Fold edges of Chandrakala

  14. 14

    Heat ghee in a pan and deep-frying chanderkala in low flame

  15. 15

    When chanderkala golden in colour take out form ghee

  16. 16

    Now shahi chanderkala (namkeen) ready for serve
