Preheat oven to 180°F C

Beat sugar and margarine until combined and light in colour

Stir in apple puree, honey and egg whites (mixture will look curdled)

Stir in rice bubbles, sifted flour and spices;mix well until combined

Roll level tablespoons of mix into balls

Place 5cm apart on greased oven tray

Press down lightly with a fork

Bake for about 8 mins. or until lightly browned

Cool on wire racks, store in airtight container.
