Soak beans overnight

Boil shanks in chicken broth and water for 20 minutes

Add beans to broth

Cook until beans are tender and you have a nice creamy texture

Remove shanks from broth and remove meat. Return meat to pot. Throw away bones

Add all chopped items and sauce

Add salt and pepper to taste
