  • 1 lbextra lean ground beef
  • 1 box900 ml beef broth
  • 1 can10 oz/284 ml condensed tomato with basil & oregano soup
  • 2 cupwater
  • 2 clovegarlic
  • 1 1/2 tspdried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tspground black pepper
  • 1 cupdiced fresh tomato
  • 2 cuppasta (short lasagna noodle shaped)
  • 3 tbspshredded parmesan cheese

  1. 1

    spray large heavy bottom sucepan/duch oven lightly with cooking spray. Brown beef well at medium high heat.

  2. 2

    Add broth, soup, water, garlic, oregano, pepper, tomato. Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in pasta and reduce heat.

  3. 3

    Cover and cook at gentle boil until pasta is tender - about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle into soup bowls, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
