Marinara sauce is an Italian tomato sauce that originated in Naples, usually made with tomatoes, garlic, herbs, carrot and onions.
Steps

Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 3-4 minutes.

Remove peels & seeds. Chop in very small pieces.

Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions & garlic. Saute until translucent on slow flame. (about 7-8 minutes)

Add cilantro, carrots & bay leaf. Saute all. Cook it on slow flame until vegetables cooked. (about 7-8 minutes)

Add tomatoes, salt, red & black pepper. Saute it until tomatoes cooked & becomes soft like thick sauce.

Remove from gas. Marinara sauce is ready. Let it cool.

Store it in air tight jar. Serve it with your favourite pasta or spaghetti.
