Steps

Add all ingredients in a bowl except oil & coconut. Mix well properly.

Add required water and knead semi soft dough. Keep rest for 15 minutes.

Make rolls of dough. Add 1 glass water in a steamer. Boil water. Grease steamer plate with oil. Place these rolls.

Steam these rolls on high to medium flame for 10-15 minutes. Check with knife. If it comes out clear. Then switch of gas. Transfer them in plate.

Once cooled cut them into 1/4 inch pieces.

Heat oil on a Kadhai. Deep fry these kothimbir vadi on high heat until golden brown.

Kothimbir vadi is ready to serve.

Garnish with grated coconut. Serve with green chutney & hot Masala tea.
