For new years eve we prepared our favorite pork marinade, selected a perfect belly cut and cooked it in our Chinese Stove. The flavour we got was outstanding. We really hope you are encouraged to try this recipe. It was wondeful for us!

Light the charcoal on top of the chinese oven. It will take at least 20 min to be ready and this gives you plenty of time to prepare the pork. You want to make sure your heat level is low, you can use a thermometer in order to assist you in this task.

Put the pork belly on a tray, salt it and put it inside the fridge while you make the sauce.

For the sauce. Mix the Coke, Soy Sauce, Vanilla Essence and Oregano. This sauce is a very aromatic, it goes excellent with pork, and poultry, specially chicken and quail.

Pour the sauce on the pork belly cut and let it rest for 30 min.

Put the pork inside the chinese oven with the skin on top. Wait for 40 min and make sure you keep the charcoal lighted. You want the heat level to stay steady, not to increase.

After 40 min, flip the pork and cook it for another 40 min. Then take it out and enjoy!
