I haved tried this many times and everytime it tastes awesome :-)
Steps

First for one masala papad finely chop half onion.

Then finley cut half a tomato.

Then take a frying pan and add sufficient quantity of oil to submerge the pappadum.

Then heat the pan for 2 to 3 mins on low flame.

Then put poppadum on it and deep fry it until it becomes a little brown.

Then remove the Poppadum from the pan and make sure to drip the oil and move the poppadum to the serving plate.

Then sprinkle finely chopped onion and tomato on the poppadum.

Then further sprinkle some crushed pepper and chilli powder according to your taste.

Then sprinkle extra toppings such as finely chopped coriander.

To maintane the crispiness serve as soon as possible!
