Ingredients

15minutes
2 servings
  • 2 cupsflattered rice
  • 1medium size chopped onion
  • 2green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoonspeanuts
  • 1 sprigcurry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoonsugar
  • 2 tablespoonscooking oil
  • 1 tablespoonlemon juice

Steps

15minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in kadhai, splutter mustard seeds when seeds stop spluttering add curry leaves, green chilies and saute for 30seconds.

    Add peanuts and cook for minute on low medium flame.

  3. 3

    Add onion and saute till it transparent.

  4. 4

    Add turmeric powder and salt, mix it.
    In between take strainer wash poha in running water and add it in kadhai and keep mixing. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Add sugar and mix it.

  6. 6

    Pour lemon juice and mix it.

  7. 7

    Poha is ready to serve.
