This is the first time I've made this soup. I saw it on a TV show, and I must say, the family loved it.

This is the first time I've made this soup. I saw it on a TV show, and I must say, the family loved it.

Blend the tomatoes, onion, and chicken broth.

Pour into a saucepan and simmer on low heat. Add the epazote, pasilla chiles, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil.

Add the shredded chicken breast and bring to a boil again.

Remove from heat and, when serving, add the tortilla strips, diced panela cheese, and avocado.
