Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
- 2
Reserve one cup of the dry cake mix and set it aside. (It will be used for the topping portion of this recipe.) In a large bowl, mix the remaining dry cake mix with the butter and egg until well mixed. Pat dough down in a baking dish and set it aside.

In the same bowl you used to make the dough, put all the filling ingredients in and mix until they all come together well. After mixed, pour mixture onto the dough in the baking dish, spread evenly with a rubber spatula (if needed) and set it aside.

In a small bowl, put the topping ingredients (which also includes the reserved 1 cup of dry cake mix) and mix them together well. (You may need to use a fork to mix the butter with the nuts and dry cake mix.) After the ingredients are mixed, distribute the topping evenly on the cake.

Put the cake into the oven for about 40-50 minutes. When the cake is done cooking, let it cool for about 20-30 minutes.

Cut into desired squares and serve. (This is totally optional, but you could sprinkle some powdered sugar on each slice served. It adds a great taste to the cake.) Enjoy!
