Steps

Boil artichokes in salted water until tender, about 5 min. Poke a knife in like checking a potato.

Drain and pat dry.

Toss with olive oil and season with garlic salt and pepper.

Either grill on the BBQ until the artichokes have a little char or broil.

You want the chokes to have color. the char tastes so good.

Squeeze lemon and serve.

This would taste good if you substitute with any of your favorite seasonings. Like lemon pepper, Parmesan cheese, chipotle etc.

When you prep the chokes make sure you take off the tough outer leaves as they are too hard to eat.
